Andrew Hadle lives and works in Tempe, Arizona and Lawrence, Kansas and is currently enrolled as a master’s student of sculpture at Arizona State University.  He was a recipient of the 2006 Outstanding Student Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center.  He has held a solo exhibition titled Stop Motion at the Olive Gallery in Lawrence, Kansas.  His many group exhibitions include Heaven’s Treasures at OK Mountain Gallery, Austin TX; “Welcome to Asteroid Head Land… Dude” atThe Lawrence Arts Center, Lawrence KS; Play at Bootleg Art Gallery, Indianapolis IN; We Are Asteroid Head Who Are You at The Wonderfair Art Gallery and How, Lawrence KS; Bestiary at The 6 Gallery, Lawrence KS; Spring Fever at The Arts Incubator Gallery, Kansas City MO; The Magik Show at The Pony Club Gallery, Portland OR; Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Exhibit at Grounds for Sculpture, International Sculpture Center, Hamilton NJ: The Downtown Lawrence Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition, Juried by the Lawrence Arts Commission, Lawrence KS; and Iron Remembers: Iron Sculpture Burial Project during International Conference of Contemporary Cast Iron Art at the Ironbridge World Heritage Site, Shropshire England. Hadle was honored with the School of Art Special Talent Award from Arizona State University in 2009. He is currently working on a series of narrative sculptures that critique the culture of a modern a civilization in a state of waste and decay for Hot Commodity, at Bragg’s Pie Factory in downtown Phoenix to open in June 2010.
